Prana means life and this mudra activates life by activating the dormant energy inside our body. For better vision this prana mudra is very much helpful.

How to perform Prana Mudra


This mudra posture occurs by touching the tips of little finger and ring finger by tip of the thumb. Rest two fingers that is index finger and middle finger should be straight as showm in the picture.


Benefits of yoga Prana mudra


As mentioned aboove this mudra activates the dormant energy and and makes our body active, healthy and energetic. This is a rejuvenating mudra and removes fatiguness. This yoga mudra also strengthen our immunity system. By doing this prana mudra one can remain fast without eating anything for longer duration without any feeling of weakness. Prana yoga mudra is very much beneficial for eye problems. Those having low vision should always perform prana mudra for at least 15 to 30 minutes.
Those who lack sleep should perform this prana mudra along with Gyana or dhyana mudra for maximum benefit.

Gyan mudra or dhyan mudra is the exact position of hand and fingers for meditation and helps in eliminating problems like stress, insomnia and even controls anger.

How to perform gyan or dhyan mudra


Keeping the othe three fingers straight touch the tip of thumb and index finger. Fingers should be closed and index finger should be bent as shown in image.


Benefits of gyan or dhyana mudra


As mentioned above this is the meditation posture and helps in improving concentrations, people suffering from negative thoughts will see incredible improvement, the feeling of low will be abolished.
The nerves of brain gets strength thus increases memory power. Its regular practice make the children bright and intelligent.
Above all this gyan mudra helps in combatting headache, stress, insomnia and controls anger.
For maximum benefit prana mudra should be performed immidiately after this mudra.
